Only two blockchains collect more in fees than Hyperliquid's. According to DefiLlama, Hyperliquid chain fees came to $36.9 million over the seven days to October 17. That puts Hyperliquid third, behind Solana at $81.2 million and Ethereum at $75.5 million. Robinhood Chain is next at $18.0 million.
What makes up Hyperliquid chain fees
DefiLlama counts fees from every app on a chain, and on Hyperliquid one product dominates. The Hyperliquid perpetuals exchange alone generated $19.6 million, which is 53% of the weekly total by our division. Its spot order book added about $0.6 million.
A second block of fees comes from HYPE staking. DefiLlama lists a Hyper Foundation staking pool at $7.3 million and several others in the $0.6 million to $1.3 million range. Across the 22 staking listings that reported fees, the total was about $15.3 million, roughly 41% of the chain's weekly figure.
Those staking lines need a caveat. DefiLlama files rewards earned through each staking provider under fees, so they sit beside trading fees in the total. We report them as listed. A reader who wants only trading income should look at the perpetuals and spot lines on their own.

Which parts grew
The growth came from trading, not staking. The perpetuals exchange was up about 14% on the previous seven days. The Hyper Foundation staking pool slipped about 8%, and most other staking pools fell by similar amounts.
Smaller names grew faster from a low base. The tradeXYZ market made $1.76 million, up about 39%. The spot order book rose about 52% to $0.6 million. Phantom Perps, a trading front end, reached $0.43 million, a gain of about 71%.
The week against the week before
Together that left Hyperliquid chain fees up about 4% on the prior week, from $35.6 million to $36.9 million. October 15 was the strongest day at $6.9 million. October 17 was the weakest at $3.9 million.
Over 30 days the picture is softer. The chain booked $165.4 million in the latest 30 days against $181.3 million in the 30 before, a drop of about 9%.

How Hyperliquid chain fees compare
The gap to the leaders is large but not huge. Hyperliquid earned about 45% of Solana's weekly total and about 49% of Ethereum's. It earned roughly twice what Robinhood Chain did and three times what Base did, which came in at $12.0 million.
Tron's chain figure on the same measure was $2.1 million. BNB Chain was $15.7 million. Over 30 days the order stays the same, with Hyperliquid at $165.4 million, Robinhood Chain at $131.3 million and BNB Chain at $85.8 million.
These are fee totals as DefiLlama models them. They are not profit and they do not say where the money goes. This article reports public data and is not advice to buy or sell HYPE.
