USDGO stablecoin reserves stood at $1,248,950,562 on August 31, 2026, against 1,244,426,424 tokens outstanding. That comes from Anchorage Digital Bank's reserve report, signed by its accountants on September 28. BlackRock's tokenized BUIDL fund held $462.5 million of that pile, up from $312.4 million a month earlier. Part of the coin's backing is now an onchain fund.

How the USDGO stablecoin reserves shifted in August

The July 31 report showed 1,112,640,495 tokens and $1,116,301,304 of reserves. BUIDL made up roughly 28% then, and ordinary money market funds covered 71%. By August 31 BUIDL had climbed to 37% and the money market share fell to 62%. Cash stayed near 1% in both months.

Supply grew 11.8% over the month, yet the money market line shrank by $18.8 million. BUIDL took the whole increase and then some, gaining $150.1 million. Anchorage says the assets sit in segregated fiduciary trust accounts, with BUIDL self-custodied in segregated wallets.

The report describes BUIDL as a tokenized money market fund. Per the report, it holds Treasury paper and repo and pays out a daily dividend. Securitize acts as its registered transfer agent.

Reserves exceeded tokens by $4.5 million at the August date, about 0.36% of supply. July's cushion was $3.7 million.

USDGO stablecoin supply moved a lot after the report date

Daily DefiLlama figures show Solana USDGO near $1.25 billion on August 31 and about $1.42 billion on September 24. It then fell by $219 million on September 30, to $1.19 billion. Neither Anchorage nor OSL has put out an explanation for that drop.

A rebuild followed the September dip. DefiLlama's first Solana data point, on February 17, shows $50.0 million, so the USDGO stablecoin has grown about 26-fold in under eight months. Reading the token contract on Solana directly on October 9 gives 1,298,449,469 tokens, which is 4.3% above the August attestation. CoinGecko shows USDGO at $0.9999 with a market value near $1.30 billion. Anchorage's report lists a second contract on Morph with zero tokens, so Solana carries all of the USDGO stablecoin supply.

OSL ties a Hong Kong fund to the coin

OSL Group, which brands and distributes the token, said on October 8 that it will tokenize USDGO Plus SP, a fund run by 2WA. It is a market-neutral product built on USDGO, open only to professional investors in Hong Kong. OSL reports a 16.67% return since inception through October 7 and 17.05% annualized over the last 30 days, before fees.

Daily subscriptions and redemptions are allowed, and a same-day express redemption feature is planned for later this month. On September 30, USDGO's own blog announced a Brazilian real pair on Mercado Bitcoin, its first Latin American listing.

What the USDGO stablecoin reserve mix means for holders

A reserve that leans harder on one tokenized fund concentrates exposure to that fund and to Securitize as its transfer agent. USDGO's site describes one-to-one minting and redemption against dollars through Anchorage, and the report ties each token to a reserve dollar. The September report will show whether the BUIDL share kept rising. This article reports attestation figures and market data only. It gives no advice to hold, buy or redeem any stablecoin.
