Binance stock perpetuals added four more names on October 6, and the exchange's own contract list now shows how far the product has grown. A Binance Futures notice published at 06:15 UTC scheduled contracts on StablecoinX, Viking Therapeutics, McDonald's and Akamai. They went live at 09:00, 09:05, 09:10 and 09:15 UTC.
What Binance Stock Perpetuals Look Like On Paper
All four contracts carry the same terms. Maximum leverage is 20x, trading runs 24 hours a day, and the minimum order is 5 USDT in notional value. Funding is capped at plus or minus 2% and settles every eight hours.
Tickers are USDEXUSDT, VKTXUSDT, MCDUSDT and AKAMUSDT. The first tracks StablecoinX, the Ethena-focused treasury company that lists on Nasdaq as USDE. The notice adds that the products may not be available in every region.
This was the third batch in nine days. Binance launched five stock contracts on September 28, among them Oklo, Carvana and ExxonMobil, and seven more on September 29, including Critical Metals. That is 16 new listings across three notices.
How Big The TradFi Book Has Become
Binance's public exchange info feed tags these products with their own contract type. At 10:13 UTC on October 6 it listed 217 of them in trading status, out of 789 trading futures contracts in total. Roughly 27% of the menu is now something other than crypto, and Binance stock perpetuals make up most of it.
Most are single US stocks and funds, 179 in all. The rest cover 15 Hong Kong names, eight Korean ones, two from mainland China, eight commodities, one currency pair and four pre-market contracts.
The oldest is gold, which went live on December 11, 2025. Tesla followed on January 28. After that the pace picked up. Of the contracts still trading, 28 arrived in May, 51 in June, 40 in July, 30 in August and 33 in September.
Volume tells a similar story, with a catch. The 24-hour ticker feed showed $12.24 billion traded in these contracts out of $51.20 billion across the exchange, or 23.9%. Bitcoin's USDT perpetual alone traded $10.28 billion in the same window, and Ether's traded $6.52 billion.
Where The Trading Actually Sits
The catch is concentration. Volume in Binance stock perpetuals is a rolling 24-hour total, so it moves by the minute. The five busiest TradFi contracts, led by SPCXUSDT and gold at $1.74 billion, made up 54.6% of that $12.24 billion. The top ten took 72.8%.
A typical contract is small. The median 24-hour volume was about $1.53 million, and 145 of the 217 traded under $5 million. A new listing starts even smaller. About an hour after launch, McDonald's had $0.49 million, StablecoinX $0.20 million, Viking $0.13 million and Akamai $0.08 million.

Binance's ticker feed for MCDUSDT shows the contract opening at 09:10 UTC with about $485,000 traded.
Thin books carry their own risk at 20x. Akamai's contract, for one, last settled funding at 0.14%, a payment from longs to shorts. A small order can move a quiet contract, and those prices track an underlying share that trades only during exchange hours. Binance Pay Japan showed the exchange pushing into everyday payments last week. The futures menu shows a different push, toward traditional markets.
Binance has also been building a spot route. On September 30 it added seven tokenized stocks, branded bStocks, to its margin collateral list, though borrowing against them was not yet supported. Perpetuals need no token, only a price feed and margin.
This article is not investment advice. Leveraged contracts can lose more than a trader expects within minutes, and availability depends on where a user lives.
