PHA Volume Surge Of 203M Tokens Meets A $0.0662 Ceiling

Phala's token spent October 15 to 18 doing little. Binance spot volume ran between 19 million and 32 million PHA a day, and the daily close crept between $0.0482 and $0.0533. Then October 19 arrived. That candle opened at $0.0482, ran to $0.0697 and closed at $0.0622, on about 203 million tokens. This PHA volume surge was more than eight times the average of the four days before it.

Volume stayed heavy afterward. Activity cooled slowly, with about 174 million tokens on October 20 and 92 million a day later. Closes of $0.0581 and $0.0612 kept price well below that October 19 high.

Where PHA sits on the daily chart

Zoom out and the PHA volume surge looks smaller. The daily trend still reads down after October 7, when a close broke $0.068. None of the closes since has regained that level. The weekly trend reads up, with a break above $0.0625 on September 21.

Over 30 days the token is up about 37%, and over seven days about 32%. Price sits above all three daily exponential averages. The nearest, the 20-day, is just under $0.058.

A few levels frame the move. The October 12 swing high of $0.0662 was swept twice, with a high of $0.0697 on October 19 and $0.0664 on October 20. Neither sweep produced a daily close above it. Separately, Phala disclosed an attack on its cloud platform this week, covered in our Phala Cloud post-mortem report.

What the 4h candles show now

The newest closed candle matters most. It ran from 00:00 to 04:00 UTC on October 22, opened at $0.0612 and closed at $0.0680. That finish sits over the $0.0662 line, on about 20 million tokens, in line with the busier 4h candles of the previous day. A candle still forming at 07:15 UTC had touched $0.0700.

Beneath price, bullish gaps from the earlier rise sit near $0.0574 to $0.0581 and $0.0512 to $0.0615. The October 21 swing low of $0.0558 is the closest anchor. Above, the October 1 high of $0.0808 comes first, and then $0.1007 from September 25.

Bitcoin sits above its 100-day average. PHA is inside its 20-day range, about 17% under the 20-day high. At 07:00 UTC, two of the last three funding prints were negative, near -0.016% and -0.009%. Account ratios were about even at 50.5% long.

Two PHA paths from the 4h closes

Upside needs a four-hour close above $0.0700. That points to $0.0808. A four-hour close under $0.0662 cancels it.

Downside starts with a four-hour close below $0.0662, giving the reclaim back. Next stops are $0.0581 and $0.0558. A four-hour close back above $0.0680 cancels that route.

We have no lean here. After a PHA volume surge on a small token, moves can reverse fast in either direction. Every level comes from closed Binance candles, and each one is only a reference point.
